شهدت محطّات البنزين، اليوم الجمعة، أطوَل طوابير الانتظار، مع إغلاق عددٍ كبيرٍ منها بعد يومٍ من إعلان المصرف المركزي فتحه الاعتمادات لاستيراد المحروقات وفق سعر صرف السوق. وفيما تُباع آخر صفائح البنزين المخزّن لدى المحطّات اليوم بما يُقارب الـ80 ألف ليرة، من الموقّع أن تُباع الصفيحة بعد رفع الدعم بسعرٍ يُقارب الـ300 ألف ليرة.

Gas stations witnessed exceptionally long queues on Friday, as many stations closed their doors a day after the Central Bank announced it would open credits to import fuel according to the market exchange rate. While the last of the 20L gallons at gas stations are sold today at around LBP 80,000, after the subsidies lift, their cost is expected to reach nearly LBP 300,000.
