Dorm operator explains delay in sending COVID-19 cases to recovery facilities

A spike in COVID-19 cases among Sembcorp Marine workers in Westlite Jalan Tukang Dormitory over the past week led to delays getting them to recovery facilities. But dorm operator Centurion Corp said that so far, it has worked with authorities to resolve this. They are also ramping up efforts to educate workers on Singapore's COVID-19 policy which may differ from their home countries or cultures. Riot police showed up outside the place on Oct 13 after workers gathered to demand better medical care and food.
