Elon Musk's SpaceX has a TREMENDOUS LEAD over Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin!
Electrical, mechanical, and software engineers act as the backbone of any space exploration company. Their dissatisfaction and resignation are not a good sign for any firm but are a reality for Blue Origin currently. Nitin Aurora, the principal engineer running the lunar lander program at Bezos’ company, had decided to join SpaceX. He is not the only one as many other employees including Jeff Ashby, who directed the New Shephard launch have also resigned from the company. Could it be that there is a huge difference in the interests of Blue Origin and the people that work there? Are the engineers not finding their jobs worth the while? And how are things done at SpaceX differently while still being so attractive for them?
The video today will first go over the conflict of interest between employees and Blue Origin management. Then we get to know Physicist Michio Kaku’s take on the situation. After that, we will take a look at how engineers kept motivated at Bezos’ company versus Musk’s. The last part of the video will talk about the delayed schedule for the New Glenn and other spacecraft which affect the company and its employees. Blue Origin conflict of interest with employees
By 2020. Blue Origin was among the most favorite space exploration companies to be a part of. Over a thousand qualified individuals became part of the team. However, ever since it has started rallying against SpaceX and tries to take it down several times, 17 key employees have resigned. The space industry is filled with people who always respect the competition and believe in the greater good of the field, it may be possible that they have been triggered.
Blue Origin is currently in a lawsuit against NASA for awarding SpaceX with the 2.9 billion Starship HLS contract. Bezos has even put 2 billion dollars on the table out of his pocket to cover a major portion of the expenses if his company gets the contract. A graphic was posted on the official website before going to court in which the Starship was explained to be very risky and unnecessarily complex. A media outlet has reported that it might have been the main reason why employees were triggered into thinking that there are ill intentions behind one aerospace company going against another one this way.
These individuals are believed to most likely hold the opinion that the efforts of their fellow engineers and researchers in SpaceX were going to waste. Work on the moon landing system was vital for the human race and the overall space exploration industry. The lawsuit has halted all progress until the legal side of things can be sorted out by the courts.
Physicist Michio Kaku’s Take
Michio Kaku, the American theoretical physicist believes that Musk’s SpaceX has a tremendous lead over Bezos’ Blue Origin when it comes to space exploration. He argued that completing great feats like selling flights to the moon and completing International Space Station Missions puts Elon’s company way ahead in the space tourism industry.
Michio’s perspective is that even though the media is making it look like a head-to-head space race between two billionaires, in reality, SpaceX is far ahead of Blue Origin. Musk’s company has flown around the earth multiple times and regularly goes to the space station. Kaku then said that one of the recent launches traveled even past the Hubble Space Telescope which is quite far into outer space. On top of all this, SpaceX is giving people the chance to buy tickets to the moon and a Japanese billionaire has already purchased all the tickets on the first flight to the moon.
These will not just be going into space and feeling weightless for three minutes but actually to the moon and back.

Lack Of Employee Motivation
The Kent, Washington headquarter for Blue Origin has almost four thousand employees. After ten days had passed since Bezos’ space flight, all the employees were given a bonus of ten thousand dollars each as a reward to celebrate the great achievement. Even though the company considered it to be a thank you, many employees had the feeling that it was an act of desperation to retain the employees and can even be considered as a bribe. This theory gets a lot of weight because many employees were filing their resignations right after Jeff’s launch.
All those who did leave the company claimed that a major reason for them doing so was the slow and rigid bureaucratic management style of the company. Most of them said that they were particularly unhappy with the CEO Bob Smith and the way he did things. Over at SpaceX, surveys show that almost 91 percent of the employees had no problem and were happy with CEO Musk.
