
Na+, K+, Ca++ are the cations that are responsible for depolarization of various membranes. The video describes various ways by which these cations cause a membrane to depolarize. Either a cation can enter the cell from the ECF, or the intracellular cation (K+) can simply come to line up on the inside of the membrane. Watch the video for more details.
