In this clip from the second day of Hedgeye’s Investing Summit, Hedgeye CEO Keith McCullough has an in-depth discussion with Michael Green, (Portfolio Manager at Simplify Asset Management) on his calculated outlook for the end of Global Macro in 2021 and beyond.
“The path forward is very uncertain. If I look at how I’m thinking the world looks, I would suggest that it looks an awful lot like the 4th quarter of 2018,” Green emphasizes. “We’ve seen similar time periods in 2010 coming off the 2009 recovery where there was a pause in the market. It feels very much to me like we’re in that sort of situation . . You’re looking at a lot less certainty around the idea that this is going to recovery sharply.”
