Rep. Adam Schiff's Promise To Refer Contemptuous Witnesses to the DOJ for Criminal Prosecution

Congressman Adam Schiff said, definitively and unequivocally, that if witnesses do not appear to testify this week, as they have been subpoenaed to do, Congress "will" vote to hold them in contempt, Congress "will" refer them to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution, and DOJ, in Schiff's estimation, will do what is necessary to move our democracy toward "recovery."

Rep. Schiff has not only been a member of Congress for 20 years but, before being elected to office, he served as a federal prosecutor. Rep. Schiff understands the importance to our nation of the rule of law.

Here's why his pledge to the American people regarding what Congress "will" do is so important.
