Guiding Principle 2: Teacher knows the subject(s) for which he or she is responsible

In this feature we look at Guiding Principle #2 on the Appraisal Document with #BorzonaJonesMullings. There are two appraisal documents for teachers in the Jamaican Education System-The beginning and expert teacher. Each document represents the same guiding principles but some areas one may be more detail or less detail depending on whether the teacher is experienced or not experienced. It is important that we understand the document and how to present evidence to demonstrate that as educators we are contributing positively to the improvement of the system. The appraisal process is to help us to grow and become better at our craft.
