Where To Find LOCKDOWN BUCKS IN THE RUT!!!

In this video we are covering where to hunt bucks during the peak rut. The peak rut phase can be extremely slow and frustrating if you aren't in the right areas. During the peak rut we like to focus on what we call "isolation areas."

An isolation area is a location where a buck can push a doe to breed away from other deer and predators. What makes an isolation area tough, is the buck will put himself and his doe in an area where he can see, hear, and smell long distances. He will know you are coming before you know he is there. However, if you get out of your comfort zone, hunting these locations can provide you with an awesome experience.

As far as our strategies go for cameras, we will run cell cameras in these areas to get the very first intel of bucks pushing does in these areas to lock down. This MRI will let us know the lock down phase is in and we should shift our focus from doe bedding into these lock down locations.
