Kazan got attacked by a predator and had a dangling tail tip for a bit. A few days after filming this video the dangling bit and an inch or two of its tail was completely missing. Kazan is still doing well though, fed it peanuts just this morning, 17 January 2022. When it runs away sometimes I like to say "There goes Russia!" in a nod to its name coming from the city of Kazan in Russia.
