Storm Dudley hits the UK on February 16th 2022.
Warnings are in place across the UK as the storm hits, with 90 miles per hour winds heading inland, along with heavy rain and snow.
As the effects of the storm hit, high winds caused tidal surges in coastal regions, leading to floods in low lying areas.
Damage was caused to buildings, with trees pulled down by the force of the wind. In Wales, a wind turbine collapsed in the storm, with fears of further damage.
In Scotland, train services were stopped and businesses closed due to the storm, with residents advised to remain indoors where possible.
As well as the UK, Storm Dudley is expected to impact North West Europe, including France and the Netherlands, with warnings in place for high winds and floods.
Further warnings are in place for Friday 18th February, as Storm Eunice is expected to hit the UK and nearby countries, with more high winds and floods forecast.
