Well here's a most unpleasant and frustrating job.
When the Compact Total system came in it was in a bit of a state: The powerhead sounded rough as a badger's arse, the hose was broken and the machine its self has got a wailing top bearing.
We've already serviced the powerhead so now it's time to focus on sorting out that broken hose.
What you see in the video is not my original plan for the repair; rather it came to me one night that back in the day we used to reterminate the hoses when they broke but this is only possible when the rest of the hose is in good condition. Luckily this one is. So let's give it a go!
