[Weather] Early summer heat returns along with very high UV rays

전국 맑고 초여름 더위, 매우강한 자외선

Good morning. Today we'll have sunny skies and warmth nationwide with wide gaps between highs and lows... and the weather for tomorrow, which is local election day in Korea, should be a repeat of today's conditions.

Very high UV rays will beam down on us so use a sunscreen that has over SPF 30 and PA-plus-plus to protect yourself from the sun's rays. Don't forget to apply it around your ears and neck too.

Afternoon temperatures will be 1 to 7 degrees higher today, Gwangju will be going up to 29 degrees Celsius, that's 7 degrees higher than yesterday. Decent air quality is expected nationwide all day.

Tomorrow is a temporary holiday and next Monday is Memorial Day, a national holiday... so many people might take time off at the end of the workweek to get away... and for now, the weather seems to be promising through early next week.
