SCP 001 is an Apollyon Class anomaly also known as When Day Breaks.
SCP 173 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Sculpture.

SCP-001 is the designation given to the Sun, after an event occurred that resulted in roughly 6.8 billion casualties within the first twenty-four hours. Upon contact with visible light produced by SCP 001, living organisms liquefy at the point of contact, with the effect spreading until the entire organism is converted into a form resembling melted wax. Organisms exposed to SCP001 though, do not perish.

SCP-173 is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP-173. Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation.
