This was part of a carefully orchestrated campaign started in July 2018 by the Sdra lvsborg Rescue Service Association. They wanted to share a warning to parents and guardians about the high phone usage in today's world. Statista revealed 4.15 billion people owned mobile and cellular devices in 2015 and projected the growth to 4.78 billion by 2020. Cell phone use is banned in many places, such as while driving in 20 states and aboard planes. Pilot Patrick Smith revealed the main reason for the ban is a social issue to avoid 200 people chatting on a plane at the same time.
