How to Enable Background Sounds in iOS 15 & How to Turn Off [iPhone & iPad]

First, open the Settings app on iPhone. and Scroll to the accessibility option.

Now, Find and Tap on Audio Visual option. and find Backgroud sounds.

Here's the first option is to turn on Backgroud sounds, Turn n this toggle to start playing background music also I will see how to quickly enable it from the control center later on in this video.

Now, the second option is, Sound, the default sound is rain, Download more sounds by a tap on each one. and select that you play in the background.

The next option is Balanced noise volume, Enable toggle to keep a balance between them otherwise change it to minimize backgroud voice.


The next option is to Use when media is playing, you can disable it if you are distracting when playing music and Stop automatically while playing music. want to play only backgroud sound while headphone is only connected with Phone or Playing On Speaker. Next slider is for the Volume level of Backgroud voice while you play with music.

The next option is Stop Sounds when Locked, When enabled backgroud sounds will stop when iPhone is locked.

That's all about internal settings on iPhone for Backgroud Voice. Now, Let's see how to quickly enable it from control center. and change Backgroud Voice.

For that Hearing shortcut must be added in the control center. If not then open the settings app, Tap on the Control center and Scroll to Hearing, and Tap on the Plus icon to add in the control center.

Now, Open control center from top right corner of the screen, and see ear icon, Tap on it. Again Tap on Backgroud sounds off and turn it on.

Change the default Rain sound by a tap on it and select Bright Noise, Dark Noise, Ocean, Rain or Stream.

Also, Adjust the Sound level using the slide given in the widget.
