There are hundreds of thousands of Tesla cars on the road, many of which are no longer under warranty. But Tesla's strict control over the vehicle service and parts pipeline means that for many jobs, the owner of an older Tesla can't just take their car to a local mechanic. This video looks at how that works, how some owners are getting around those restrictions, and where the servicing model for older and out of warranty Teslas may be going in the future.
