Here are a few things I did when I was overweight to become more confident in the gym and while running. Exercise insecurity could be one of the reasons you're avoiding going to the gym, I know first hand how difficult it can be to get the courage to get out there. But, once you get the confidence you need to get out to do your exercise consistently and understand that if you put in the work you will be successful it's a powerful thing. I came up with a few strategies when I was severely overweight and I truly believe that these are some of the reasons why I was able to lose weight and keep it off for over 5 years now.
