Marinade
1 lb chicken
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp each salt, turmeric, chili
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
2-3 tbsp Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
Sause
1 big tomato
1 red onion
1-2 green chilies
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 can tomato sauce
2 cloves
2 cardamom pods
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
2-3 tbsp heavy cream
Cashew
Kasuri Methi
Serve with rice and Naan, garnish with cilantro!
Marinade chicken and bake until it reach 165F
Fry onion, green chili and tomato for 10 min, add spices and tomato paste. Cook 5 more minutes. Blend. Put sauce back to the pan, add cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, heavy cream, cashew, kasuri methi and cook for few more min.
