I visit a village in Pakistan and see that life is not so different from what I've seen in North India. People in Koreysha, Punjab, Pakistan, are living extremely similar to my own family in Haryana and Rajasthan, India. The similarities extend across the North Indian states of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and probably more that I haven't experienced village life in yet.
The houses look the same. The villagers understand me when I speak Hindi. There are cows, water buffalo, and various birds everywhere. Kids are playing at the pond and walking home from school. Farmers are out in the fields working. Men are hanging out and playing games around the village. There's cow-dung drying on the walls to be used as fuel to cook food. Farmers are busy cutting up and transporting the feed for their animals.
The list of similarities goes on and on, and I'm sure Indians can see far more similarities than I can. So, please leave your observations in the comments.
